Q. How do I apply?
A. Click on the Call for Entries link and it will take you through to the application form. Please complete online or download it from the web page and print out and complete all questions and return to art inq., PO Box 344, Kensington Park, 5068.
Q: How are the People’s Choice awards judged?
A: The public are encouraged to vote for their favourite artist by clicking on ‘vote now’ and completing the entry form.
At the end of the exhibition, the three most popular artists, as decided by the public, will go in the running for the grand prize. A panel of industry professionals will select a winner from the three finalists.
Q: How will work be displayed?
A: The artwork will be displayed within CIBO Espresso bards that will be fitted with professional lighting and hanging systems.
Q: What do I get for being involved?
A: All participants have the opportunity to showcase their artwork in a prominent public space. Artwork featured in the exhibitions will be on sale to the public, with artists receiving full retail value. There is also the opportunity to win the awards, which include cash prizes and the chance to have your artwork displayed on the CIBO Espresso takeaway cups.
Q: How long will the competition run for?
A: The competition commences on 24th June and will end on 31st August.
Q: When do entries close?
A: Entries will close on 24th May 2011.
