Artist: Alan Jury
Artist Statement:
Alan studied Graphic Design at Underdale and has his artwork entered in prestigious national and regional awards, group exhibitions and a series of commissions. Alan utilises his interest in drawing and formal studies to complete these assemblages. Alan uses found objects, discarded materials and paint to create collage/decollage/assemblage work that challenges ideals of beauty, value and commercialism.
